Tim’s Going to HAITI

Hey friends! Tim here.

So I’m going to Haiti from April 19-29. This will be my second trip there, but my first one post-earthquake. I had gone with Josh and a mission group called Sundouloi ministries back in August, and I’ve been wanting to go back ever since.

Haiti is a country that needs help. Physical and spiritual help. Haiti needed help for a long time. Long before the earthquake struck, which killed over 200,000 people instantly.

God has created a big place in my heart and has filled it with the people of Haiti. No only does Haiti not have physical essentials to life, like clean water, food, and medicine, but Haiti also does not have Jesus. I have a strong conviction to fight on Haiti’s behalf. There is a huge spiritual war waging in Haiti right now, as it has been for the past 200 years, when Haiti’s government dedicated its land and entire country to Satan (this is no lie, look it up in history books).

The truth is, I want to live my life and die knowing that I fought for Haiti, fought for Haiti’s redemption from the grip of the devil, fought for the sake of the Kingdom of God. Jesus said in Matthew to “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

I ask that you pray for this trip and for the team I’m going with. But don’t pray for safety, pray that God’s Kingdom would be advanced. Sometimes, following Jesus is not safe, and I’m okay with that. Thanks for your support in prayer.

Grace and peace,
Tim
