Update from the Road…Birmingham
July 20th, 2009

Hello everyone, we had a long week last week. I got sick and had to lay low for a week. Thank you for all of you who were praying, it was evident that God had His hand over me. He provided a place for me to rest and heal for an entire week.

I am excited to be back and see what God has in store for Birmingham Camp. We are also preparing for our trip to Haiti during the first week of August. We would love for you to partner with us and be a part of what God is going to do there. We need prayer for our energy and strength, that we would be able to endure whatever is asked of us down there with intense heat. That God would move in a powerful and real way in the hearts of many people.

We are excited about this journey and can’t wait to share with all of you the mighty things that God does during the week of our trip. Thank you for your support.

Josh

Update from the Road…Dallas
June 15th, 2009

Dallas, TX

Yo what’s up my friends! So we just made it up to Dallas on Saturday from San Antonio. So, we had Sunday completely free, so we decided to go to church in the morning, and then we went exploring dowtown Dallas. So right when we got there, we drove right by the place where JFK was shot back in the 60’s, which was pretty crazy to see. One thing I love about traveling like this is that we’ve been able to see places in this country that we’ve only read about in books; so seeing that in person was pretty sweet. So then we spent the next 45 mins driving around looking for some sort of non-sketchy parking. But then, in our search, we happened across this massive street festival, so of course we had to go check it out. There was live music and booths everywhere just packing the streets, it was sweet. We spent probably 3 hours out there in 105 degree Dallas weather, but it was awesome.

So I’d say it was a pretty good day.

So, today, another camp starts and we are itching for it, it’s gonna be great and God is going to do some even greater things, He hasn’t let us down.

-Tim

The trip is going well. Like Tim said, Sunday afternoon we took a trip to Dallas and saw the city. There was a huge art festival going on and we saw amazing art of all kinds. My favorite piece of art was photography capturing a beach. The creation that God creates is amazing, and then people can capture it and just be amazed at it. God has created sights that we have never seen before. He is a huge God.

Isaiah 40:26, “ Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing.”

Update from the Road…
June 9th, 2009

San Antonio, TX

This is the second week of FCC Camps. We are having a blast. It is awesome to see all our friends again from last summer but also meet you new campers. We are so thankful for the many relationships; it is a blessing to get to know all of you. God is doing awesome things during the services, and we are excited to continue on to see what else God will do.
-Josh

Man, we’ve been so blessed and fortunate to be able to taste a dream that we’ve had for a really long time, that being to travel and play music. The summer tour kicked off in Atlanta a few weeks ago. From there we hit the road in Josh’s good ole SUV and headed straight to Dallas for a camp, which was awesome. Then down to San Antonio, which is where I write you, from a retro 70’s hotel room and where it’s about 130 degrees outside…no lie, it’s hot. Anyways, God is awesome and is always taking amazing care of us. Ok, that’s all for now, thanks for checking in with us from the road!

Summer Tour 2009
May 2nd, 2009

Summer tour dates posted!!! So we will be traveling with the FCC Camps again this summer and are super pumped about it!

If you are going to be at a FCC Camp, then take a look at our schedule and see if we will be at your camp!

Other than that, Josh and I have been here in California at my house, working on some new music. We’ve been writing and recording some new tunes that we are pretty excited to reveal this summer! Hope you all will like the new tunes as much as we do!

Ok, have a good one! Thanks for checking out our website! I just realized that I think I ended every sentence with an exclamation point! Oh well! Ok, here’s one more!

M.Fillmore on American Idol!
March 22nd, 2009

It’s true!!! Ok, so maybe not in the way you are thinking, but I, Tim, did happen to be in the audience right behind Simon on last wednesday’s (March 18th) results show!

So my friend had put her name on a waiting list for tickets last year and they finally gave her 4 tickets, for free, I might add. Then, we still had to wait all day in line to make sure that we got a seat inside. So anyways, it was crazy. So if you happen to have that episode Tivo’d, then go look for me right behind Simon!!!

Oh, I almost forgot! So Justin Guarini, the runner-up behind Kelley Clarkson on season 1 was sitting right next to me. I talked to him, he talked to me. I asked him if he wanted to sing a duet with me. He kindly declined. Oh well, maybe next time.

Ok, see if you can spot me?

End of tour=Sad day
March 7th, 2009

Tour is over. We are home. While it’s really good to be home, I miss tour already. Maybe I miss all the new friends we made this tour? Probably. We had a blast. Just want to give a shout out to all our new friends at Southwest! You guys were awesome and spending a whole week getting to know you just wasn’t long enough…I know we can’t wait to make it back to your area again.

So for the next three months, we will be home, mainly spending some time writing for our next album which we hope to release by the end of the year, if God will have it, of course. Then, come summer, and we hit the road with FCC Camps again all summer! We seriously can’t wait for that! Last summer was a blast, and we are expecting even more amazing things to happen this summer! God is never done, we are realizing. His Hand is always at work somewhere in someone’s life, and for us to be able to witness that, I just couldn’t ask for anything more.

I know this is a really generic and impersonal way to say thank you, but I really just wanted to say thank you to everyone who we met these past three months. Since the day after Christmas, we were on the road, living out of an SUV , and everyone we met was just so welcoming. You all embraced us and made us feel like your sons, or brothers, or other close relatives. That means a lot to us. Know that we are forever grateful to you.

The St. Louis Arch
November 9th, 2008

Hey…it’s Tim again…

Toledo, to Dayton, to Indianapolis, to St. Louis. It has been a fun two weeks. So we have had some pretty amazing times in each of these cities. God has been annointing times of worship and has been in the business of restoring and healing. We have had just the most amazing times getting to reconnect with old friends and getting to meet all our new friends.

So yesterday, our St. Louis friends, Allison and Jenna, gave us the grand tour of St. Louis, which included a visit to the Imfamous Arch! Now, at first, it sounded like a great idea, to go up into this huge arch. But…well…I’m a little bit claustrophobic…and, basically, you have to sit all four people in this egg-shaped elevator thing that looks like something an Umpa-Lumpa would ride in.

Now, I’m 6′4″, so it was by no means “roomie”. Anyways, this thing has one door, which locks itself into place, and has no windows, and it creaks its way up 637 feet to the top of the arch, which felt like a short eternity. So you get to the top, and the wind is swaying the 637 foot arch back-and-forth. Now, I happen to get sea-sick even if I’m in a canoe on a calm lake, so this was churning my stomach like a blender.

But let me tell, the superficial fear I experienced was well worth the view from the top: to look out at God’s marvelous creation, tracing the maze of the Mighty Mississippi river as far north and south as the eye could carry. Beauty.
